Xunesis Lab Tour
On February 22, Xunesis arranged a tour of Dr. Ken Paller's Laboratory at Northwestern University for Dr. Kirk Hallowell's Illiinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA) students. Dr. Paller, who is the Director of the Cognitive Neuroscience program at Northwestern, studies human memory using electrophysiology, functional imaging and behavioral experiments with both students and neuropsychological patients. IMSA students learned about memory from Dr. Paller and had the opportunity to see an electrophysiology demonstration with Dr. Hallowell as the subject. Students also had the opportunity to dialogue with Dr. Paller and his lab personnel about a variety of neuroscience topics and ask questions about study and careers in neuroscience.
